1P DCF Cirriform Tarp - With pet!

$389.00

Blemished: This tarp has an insect fused into the DCF material. Consider it a pet to keep you company in camp. It should not impact the performance or reliability of the tarp.

Updates: Please note that the design of this tarp has been updated from that shown in the photos. Please see the "Design Updates" tab below for more info and pictures.

For your minimal trips, the wind-shedding Cirriform provides a solid tarp in a small package. Pair it with your bivy for bomber protection, or use it with our 1P Bug Shelter to create a lightweight double-wall tent.

The Cirriform has been updated to be both a front entry AND a side entry tarp!

The zipper has been shifted slighly to the left so that it now sits on the seam between the tarp's body and vestibule. There are two tie-outs at the base of the zipper, one on each side. A fastline clip allows you to connect the guyline to either one of the tie-outs. Depending on which one is connected, you can roll away the vestibule for use as a front entry (the ways it's been), or you can roll back the body for side-entry. Additionally, the zipper now extends a few inches closer to the peak which opens up the front entry a bit more.

Please keep in mind that during rainy weather, you'll want to use the shelter as a front entry to avoid exposing the sleeping area to rain and to prevent water from running into the sleeping area when you open the door. The side entry is not useable with the current Bug Shelter, but should work well with the Bug Bivy if you opt for the ridge zipper.

I don't expect weight to be impacted significantly, if at all, but any changes will be updated in the specs when available.
