1P Cirriform Tarp - SilPoly

$175.00

For your minimal trips, the wind-shedding Cirriform provides a solid tarp in a small package. Pair it with your bivy for bomber protection, or use it with our 1P Bug Shelter to create a lightweight double-wall tent.

Design Update - The Cirriform has been updated to be both a front entry AND a side entry tarp!

The zipper has been shifted slightly to the left so that it now sits on the seam between the tarp's body and vestibule. There are two tie-outs at the base of the zipper, one on each side. A fastline clip allows you to connect the guyline to either one of the tie-outs. Depending on which one is connected, you can roll away the vestibule for use as a front entry (the ways it's been), or you can roll back the body for side-entry.

Please keep in mind that during rainy weather, you'll want to use the shelter as a front entry to avoid exposing the sleeping area to rain and to prevent water from running into the sleeping area when you open the door. The side entry is NOT useable with the current Bug Shelter, but will work well with the Bug Bivy if you opt for the ridge zipper (the tarp will work with the Bug Shelter, but only as a front entry).

  • Tapered shape uses space efficiently.
  • Catenary curvatures for a taut, wind-shedding pitch.
  • Zippered vestibule/door rolls completely out of the way.
  • Side-entry option for use in fair weather.
  • Rear beak provides protection at the foot.
  • Durable, size #5 waterproof zipper.
  • Made with recycled fabric.
  • Lineloc tensioners at tie-outs for easy pitch adjustment (removable).
  • UHMWPE Core guyline with reflective tracer included.

This tarp is made from SilPoly. SilPoly doesn't sag when it gets wet (when temps drop) and won't retain water like SilNylon. See more of the pros and cons of SilPoly on our Materials Page.

Proudly made in the USA from imported fabric.

Please note that some photos may show additional items that are not included. This product listing is for the tarp and additional items listed in the specifications only.
