$135.00

Please note that the slate color is currently darker than that shown in the photos of the tarp (see last photo for a more accurate representation).

There's something special about sitting under your tarp as raindrops fall around you. This tarp tapers in width to provide more coverage where you need it and less where you don't. Catenary curves on the ridge and edges help produce a wind-shedding, taut pitch in the classic a-frame configuration. Tie-outs are located at the ends of the ridgeline, each of the four corners, and at the midpoints of the long edges. Interior hang loops are located at the ends of the ridgeline and center of the ridge.

  • Tapered shape uses space efficiently.
  • SilPoly fabric won't sag when the temperature drops.
  • SilPoly fabric has lower water retention than SilNylon.
  • Catenary cuts for a taut pitch.
  • Great for partnering with your bivy or our 1P Bug Shelter.
  • Lineloc tensioners at tie-outs ease pitch adjustment (removable).
  • UHMWPE Core guyline with reflective tracer included.

Now available with storm doors! For extra protection, this tarp is now available with storm doors for the front, and/or rear. See the storm door tab for more info.

The ridgeline of this tarp needs to be seam sealed as per these instructions prior to use (or use our service). Learn more about material options and considerations on our Materials Page.

Product Availability

Thank you for your recent patience while I relocated across the country to Montana! I've taken this opportunity to change the way I handle orders. Moving forward, I will no longer take backorders and only products that are in-stock will be available for purchase. This eliminates the lengthy lead times of the past and allows me to work more efficiently. The downside is that I'll often still be over capacity (I'm just one person, making everything), so many items will be "sold out."

I realize that these changes can make it difficult for you to plan, so if the item you're looking for is sold out, please refer to the calendar below for an anticipated production schedule. You may also want to sign up to be notified of availability on the product page. Please understand that the schedule may change without notice, and that some items, especially accessories, may be squeezed in during pockets of available time. If you don't see the item of interest in the calendar, that means that I haven't scheduled it yet and don't know when it might be available.
