This batch of Swiftlines varies slightly from stock. Please see the following notes for a description of the differences.
Group A
The Swiftline is typically made from recycled Silpoly. The shelters in Group A are made with a non-recycled silpoly. The performance and color of the two fabrics are similar. There is also black trim around the perimeter of the shelter (not pictured). The average packaged weight is 34.3 oz (974g).
Group B: 5% Off
As with Group A, these shelters are also made from the non-recycled Silpoly. They have older-style pockets (picture 1, picture 2) that are less functional than the current ones installed in the other groups. There is also black trim around the perimeter of the shelter (not pictured). The average packaged weight is 34.3 oz (974g).
Group C: 5-10% Off
These Swiftlines have a mix of non-recycled Silpoly and recycled silpoly panels (picture). The color is nearly the same, and the performance is similar. The non-recycled fabric has a larger grid pattern than the recycled fabric. There is also black trim around the perimeter of the shelter (not pictured). The average packaged weight is 33.7 oz (955g).
A portion of Group C is 2nds quality for various reasons which should not significantly impact performance or reliability. Their labels are marked as 2nds and they are designated as Group C - 2nd.
Whether you're relaxing in camp or getting some shut-eye after a big day, you'll appreciate the livability, versatility, and reliability of the Swiftline. Generous headroom, easy entry, and multiple configurations are the highlights of this stormworthy shelter.
In nice weather, the Swiftline’s hybrid, one-piece design lets you easily roll up the fly for views and airflow. Two unobstructed doors and an out-of-the-way vestibule allow you to come and go without disturbing your tent mate.
- Fly is made from Recycled fabric.
- Multiple pitching options ideal for rain or shine.
- Two side entrances uninhibited by poles.
- Large vestibule stores gear away from the doors.
- Ample headroom keeps the walls away from your face and off your bag.
- Hybrid design blends benefits of single and double wall designs.
- Catenary architecture promotes a taut, wind-shedding pitch.
- SilPoly fabric won't sag when it rains.
- Two Interior stash pockets and one hang loop for odds and ends.
- Clothesline along ridge to air out those stinky socks.
- UHMWPE Core guyline with reflective tracer & tensioners included.
- Pitches using your trekking poles (125 - 135cm range recommended)
Seam sealing:
Please note that you will need to seam seal the seams on the rain fly and floor prior to use (or use our service) as per these instructions
A note to taller users:
Feedback has told us that 6'-6" is about the upper limit for an occupant's height in the 2P Swiftline. Keep in mind that this number is fuzzy and also very subjective (what's acceptable to one person may not be to another). Some shorter hikers may begin to experience some interference 'earlier' than this due to things like sleeping bag loft, foot size, sleeping pad thickness, and how the shelter happens to be pitched. Also, note that the side of the floor along the vestibule is longer than the other side; accommodating two 6'-6" hikers is not feasible, and the taller hiker should claim the side along the vestibule.
Made in the USA from imported fabric.

Product Availability
- In most cases, items that are available to add to your cart are in-stock and ready to ship. Please refer to the shipping tab or page for expected fulfillment times.
- Some items may be marked as "Avalable to backorder," "Made to order," and/or show a lead time. In these cases refer to the information on the product page for expected fulfillment times.
- For items that are sold out, please refer to the production calendar and the Q & A below for more information.
Q: When can I expect the item I'm interested in to become available?
A: For most items, please refer to the production calendar at the bottom of this page. This calendar shows when we expect to work on more substantial products. For some accessory products, production may not always be scheduled in advance and availability may be unpredictable.
FYI: If you do not see the item that you are interested in, then we do not know when it may become available (We're often not scheduled far out in advance and don't have a private schedule beyond what's shown!).
Q: Can I pre-order, back-order, or reserve an item?
A: We don't typically reserve products, however there are some exceptions to this. For example, if someone orders an in-stock Cirriform and wants to also order an out-of-stock Bug Shelter for it, if the Bug Shelter is expected within a couple weeks, we'll usually make arrangements to reserve one of the Bug Shelters and hold the order so shipping may be combined.
On occasion, select products may be available to back-order or pre-order. When this happens, that status will be shown on the product page. If you're signed up for the stock notification, you will receive a notice that the item is available to back/pre-order.
Q: Can you let me know when the item becomes available?
A: Yes. On the product page, enter your email address in the space provided to be automatically notified when inventory becomes available. If you don't see where you can do this, please let me know; sometimes there's a fluke in the settings and the field doesn't show. Please note that the email notification could get filtered out as spam. You can try to 'whitelist' info@yamamountaingear.com to make sure the email comes through.
NOTES ON USING THE CALENDAR
- For products shown on the calendar, you can typically expect the item to be made available towards the end, or soon after the period shown on the calendar. Sometimes, however, some items may be listed earlier in the period. For example, if the calendar shows that I'm working on tapered tarps, certain sizes may become available earlier within the period with other sizes coming later.
- Items that specify "ongoing production" mean that we are continually working on these items and doing our best to maintain inventory. If the item or a particular size is sold out, you can expect it to likely become available soon.
- Please note that you can change the month shown on the calendar using the arrows at the top.
