1P Cirriform Tarp - Min

$385.00

This "Minimal" version of the Cirriform takes a step back to YAMA's roots. It utilizes the original beak design to create a simpler, lighter tarp that provides superb wind shedding and reliable performance. It's currently made from 0.5 oz DCF for additional weight savings.

The Cirriform's new zipper placement allows use as both a front entry as well a side entry in fair weather. The side entry works well with our Bug Bivy (ridge zipper version), but at this time, please note that the side entry is not useable with the 1P Bug Shelter which only has a front entry. In rainy weather, please use only the front entry to prevent water from running into the sleeping area when you open the door.

  • Tapered shape uses space efficiently.
  • Curvatures promote a taut, wind-shedding pitch.
  • Zippered front beak/door rolls completely out of the way.
  • Rear beak provides protection at the foot.
  • Durable #5 waterproof zipper
  • Lineloc tensioners at tie-outs for easy pitch adjustment (removable).
  • UHMWPE Core guyline with reflective tracer included.

Differences from standard version

  • Made of lighter DCF5
  • No peak vent
  • No upper zipper pull or prop
  • Single pointed front beak (rather than standard that splays out to two points)
  • Tie-out stitching covered on topside only (not covered on underside)

Key advantages of Min. version

  • Lower weight
  • Easier pitch
  • Requires fewer stakes
  • Greater variability in pitch widths
(the simpler beaks allows for more flexibility in how wide or narrow you can pitch the tarp)
  • Overall simpler design

Advantages of the Standard version

  • Better venting ability and options
  • Larger and more usable vestibule space
  • Increased durability and longevity due to increased dyneema content

Proudly made in the USA.
