The Pogies
These are a DCF version of the rain pogies. To match the lighter weight material, they are designed to be more minimalistic. For example, instead of the one-handed cinch to adjust the wrist opening, this version takes a more "set it and forget it" approach.
The size of the wrist opening is adjusted using a simple cord lock and shock cord cinch. While the stock sil version also uses a cord lock and shock cord, to achieve the one-handed operation, a heavier cord lock is needed which requires a much heaftier 1/8" shock cord. Compare that to the 1/16" shock cord used on the DCF version.
While the simplicity is nice, the DCF version is more challenging to put on since the opening is pre-cinched, and it's a bigger pain to adjust it. The narrower shock cord is nice because it's less likely to reduce circulation if you happen to overtighten it.

I will have a small initial quantity available to US customers for testing. Initial testers will be selected from the applicant pool. The pogies will be sold for a reduced cost of $15.00 plus shipping, and the $15.00 will be refunded after you successfully complete two rounds of feedback.
Feedback
I'm primarily looking to hear what the user experience is like. Are they too much of a pain? Solve all your problems? Do they shrink too much over time?
First round of feedback:

Warranty
We take pride in the quality of our products. Should you, the original owner, ever have a problem with your YAMA brand product due to a defect in workmanship, please contact us to arrange a repair or replacement. The warranty does not cover damage due to accidents, normal wear and tear, or misuse, and the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and risk of loss or damage during shipment. Repairs not covered by the warranty can usually be performed for a reasonable fee.
YAMA will do its best to address warranty repairs and replacements in a timely manner; however, be aware that YAMA may close periodically, sometimes for extended periods (we need to get out on the trail sometimes!). During these times, if you have a warranty issue, send us an email, and we'll reply as soon as we can. Reasonable efforts will be made to resolve the issue quickly, but in some cases, you will have to wait until the shop reopens.

YAMA Labs products, and products purchased in the 'Closeouts' section of the store, are not covered by the warranty unless otherwise stated.
